To The Divisional Railway Manager Khurdha Road Division Sub:- Complaint against Dhaulimuhan Railway Station under Khurdha DRM. Sir, Consumer Advice Centre (CAC), Bhubaneswar has been functioning under the Consumer welfare department of Govt. of Odisha. Its aim & objective is to settle the consumer related dispute in an out of court with less time & expenses. In addition organizing consumer awareness programmes at various pockets of odisha on different sectors for welfare & empowerment of the consumers. At our end we have received a complaint regarding consumer harassment from Dr. Sarat Chandra Pattanik secretary - Research Centre for the Sound , Dhaulimuhan, Khurhda and making research on sound he has been awarded with doctorate in philosophy, mementos, certificates at international level. His allegation is that on 27-1-2016 he was returning from his village - Dhaulimuhan and before boarding the train he asked the person who has been assigned by the railway authority to rendered tickets to the passengers for different places, to provide ticket to Bhubaneswar. But the person provided a ticket for Delanga instead of Bhubaneswar. After reached at Bhubaneswar station, immediately he lodged complaint before the station manager but till now no action has been taken against the person, who has been authorized by the railway to facilitate the train ticket. Due to this problem many times being people are cheated and this leads to create unethical situation. His suggestion is that neither the railway authority have taken any action against that fellow who has been assigned by the railway nor managed to tackle the situation by providing tickets plenty. In our view it is also one kind of harassment to the customers. So your noble office is requested to manage the unethical situation and provide tickets plenty. I'm sorry to inform you about some of Railway Protection Force(RPF) staff humiliating me in public ! I was observing for the long time .I live a very humiliate life in Jatni, Khurda Road . They say bad comments to people about me like I do masturbation ,Watch Pron movies, I'm a sister fucker etc. ! Frequently I visit Bhubaneswar and having a monthly pass for my train travelling ! These staff also encourage people in the street to humiliate me , I have no criminal record ! I think one of your staff (Mr. Rasheed Basha) working in Jatni Railway telecom department is involved I request you to verify about the incident and help me so that i could live my life with dignity and pride !
